At 73, part of Shirley's heart is in Africa. Having been there two times, her organization now has started five churches, and ministers in three prisons, a school, one hospital, plus helping the widows, orphans, and ex-female prisoners who can't return home. (Proceeds from the books go there.) Volume 3 is her 6th book; this one an ongoing series of feeding your spirit while nourishing your soul with questions to help you grow to spiritual maturity using the Bible as your guidebook. Has Your Heart Ever Been Broken is to help one learn and love the child within them, so they can be what God wants them to be as they mature. He Speaks As We Listen is when the Holy Spirit-or can be one's conscience that asks you a question, you answer, and then. He gives His comments. (Examples: Why do you always have to have the last word? Notice how you may win the fight, but have lost a friend? Why?) Many blank pages for you to write the questions and answers. He Listens As We Speak, is a prayer journal to put date, prayer requests and the answers. Divided into eight sections-one per day of the week-with one daily section. Suggestions for prayers, and people to include are mentioned. Time is spent first talking with God, then confessing "things" He might bring to your remembrance, before you intercede for others and self, last. Three Days Late But Right On Time, Volumes 1 and 2 are similar to Volume 3. Although one doesn't need to read them in order, it does help making a firm foundation on one's thinking regarding the Bible teachings today that is for the Church.
