He has also found many examples of "time cessation experiences" (or TCEs), in which time appears to disappear altogether. In this book he shares the fascinating psychology and shared features behind all of these case studies, coming to an incredible conclusion: TEEs are a real altered state of consciousness, rather than a trick of recollection. Steve Taylor PhD is a senior lecturer and researcher in psychology at Leeds Beckett University, and the author of many best-selling books on psychology and spirituality, including The Adventure, The Leap and Spiritual Science. He is a past chair of the Transpersonal Psychology Section of the British Psychological Society. His books have been published in more than 20 languages, and he writes the popular 'Out of the Darkness' blog for Psychology Today.
