Trepp, Tenzin: - Tenzin C. Trepp is a philosopher and writer whose work explores the mysteries of time, existence, and human experience. His previous books include Fabrica Mundi (2024), which investigates how cognition actively constructs reality, and Moments in Excellence (2023), a practical guide to living Stoicism through ancient mindful practices. His current research centers on metaphysics, with a primary focus on the ontology of time and the structure of temporal reality. He is the author of Existential Realism (2025), a comprehensive monograph that presents a new framework distinguishing between what exists-the empirically accessible present-and what can still be considered real, such as past or future entities with causal or representational significance. This approach builds on presentism while addressing its limitations, offering applications across physics, cognitive science, and philosophy. Beyond temporal metaphysics, Trepp works at the intersection of philosophy, cognitive science, and contemplative studies, examining how predictive processing, embodied cognition, and affective regulation shape our perception of time, self, and agency.
