Fakhreddine, Jawdat: -

Jawdat Fakhreddine est un poète libanais, professeur émérite de littérature arabe à l'Université libanaise de Beyrouth. Né en 1953 dans un petit village du Sud-Liban, il vit à Beyrouth. Il a publié onze recueils de poèmes, deux ouvrages de critique littéraire et trois livres de poèmes pour enfants. Son recueil "Trente poèmes pour enfants" a remporté le prix du Livre Sheikh Zayed dans la catégorie Littérature jeunesse en 2014. Ses poèmes ont été traduits en français, en anglais et en allemand.

Leïla Tahir, diplômée en langue et littérature arabes et en traduction, a traduit de l'arabe "Ramallah, mon amour" de Mahmoud Abou Hashhash (avec Emma Aubin, éd. Galaade), "Presqu'île arabe" de Salwa Al-Neimi (éd. Robert Laffont) et "L'affaissement du temps et la mort du sens" d'Ala Hlehel in "Un royaume d'olives et de cendres" (éd. Robert Laffont). Elle pense depuis longtemps qu'il n'y a pas d'âge pour lire des contes et des livres pour enfants.

Hana Jaber has a PhD in Modern History and Arab Studies from the University of Sorbonne, France. She also studied at the University of Lyon and University of Nice, France. Her recent book translations from Arabic to French include Cinquante Grammes de Paradis published by Gallimard, La fille de Souslov published by Actes Sud, Je soussigné Mahmoud Darwich published by Actes Sud and Je rêve d'être une bétonnière published by BookLand Press. She had also translated several academic articles in social sciences, either from Arabic to French, or from English to French. She lives in Paris, France.
