From the foreword: To all my readers, the police authorities, friends and family... Sometimes these stories I am writing about scare me. In this story about the origins of Indian casinos, people are still alive whose crimes I've detailed or their kids are alive or maybe just someone who is a fan of the criminal mindset; lunatics abound, at times. If there were a single story I've written that scares me the most - this is it. Should anything malevolent befall me or my loved ones after this book is written, I would ask that police start with this story first as a source of the crime.
