When severe weather strikes, the ensuing fallout produces a series of humorous or sometimes tragic vignettes. Jake didn't need a meteorologist to tell him that the weather would turn funky. All he had to do was look at the sky and he could tell something was going to happen. The sun was now barely visible, peeking out only occasionally from the clouded sky. Far to the west, it still seemed dark, due either to the early hour, or heavy cloud cover. Perhaps both. "Hey guys," he announced, "The weatherman says it's gonna snow!"

Bruce E. Martin is a native of the Detroit Michigan area, and is a 1965 graduate of South Lake High. He holds a Master of Arts degree from Wayne State and a Bachelor's from the University of Michigan. A Vietnam Era veteran, he was enlisted four years in the U.S. Navy, and was stationed aboard the USS Davis, homeported in Newport, Rhode Island. He has since retired from the insurance industry, and resides in Northeast Florida with his wife and two of his three sons. Bruce's first published work was Crafted Web. Turk Nado is his second book. Lavender Grey, a second mystery, was published in early 2017.
