Dabei wird f r ein besseres Verst ndnis neben einer anf nglichen aktuellen Problemstellung in der Gesellschaft der Gegenstand auch in einen kurzen sozialen Kontext eingegliedert. Ein Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit soll auf der Vorstellung sowie der ethischen Reflexion der unterschiedlichen mit der modernen Biotechnologie verbundenen Erwartungen, berechtigten Hoffnungen und W nsche gelegt werden. Ein Hauptaugenmerk wird dabei der Fragestellung gewidmet sein, ob man sich berhaupt klar dar ber ist, was unter den Begriffen Designerbaby oder Kind nach Ma zu verstehen ist, oder ob dadurch nur eine k nstliche Aufregung erzeugt wird. Im Speziellen soll dabei ein grunds tzlicher Blick auf das Machbare und das Nichtmachbare sowie auf das W nschenswerte und das Nicht- w nschenswerte im Zusammenhang mit dem fiktiven Ruf nach genetisch perfekten Kindern durch eine Aufarbeitung der aktuellen biomedizinischen Fortschritte geworfen werden, indem auch der Frage nachgegangen werden soll, ob und wie weit der wissenschaftliche Fortschritt den Lebenswert und die Lebenssituation der Menschen zuk nftig ver ndern sowie zu einem eventuellen Bedeutungsverlust der p dagogischen Erziehung f hren k nnte.
