Die zu den Lösungen gehörigen MATLAB-Programme werden online zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Buch eignet sich, speziell im Zusammenspiel mit dem Lehrbuch, als Übungs- und Arbeitsbuch zur Signal- und Systemtheorie für Studierende aller ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Fachrichtungen. Für die 3. Auflage wurden sowohl die im Lösungsbuch als auch im Lehrbuch verwendeten Bezeichnungen harmonisiert und vereinheitlicht.Alle MATLAB-Funktionen und Simulink-Systeme wurden nochmals überarbeitet und an die aktuelle MATLAB-Version angepasst. Sämtliche Grafiken wurden neu überarbeitet. Grö en, Schriftart und Schriftgrö e wurden vereinheitlicht, um eine bessere Lesbarkeit der Grafiken zu erzielen.Darüber hinaus wurden einige wenige, immer noch vorhandene Fehler aus den Texten eliminiert.
Das Buch eignet sich, speziell im Zusammenspiel mit dem Lehrbuch, als Übungs- und Arbeitsbuch zur Signal- und Systemtheorie für Studierende aller ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Fachrichtungen.

Professor Dr. Ottmar Beucher ist promovierter Mathematiker und hat 6 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Nachrichtentechnik. Er ist seit 22 Jahren Hochschullehrer an der Hochschule Karlsruhe - Technik und Wirtschaft. Davon hält er schon 20 Jahre Vorlesung zum Thema "Signale und Systeme". Aus dieser Vorlesung ist das Buch entstanden. Die Inhalte sind also "lehrerprobt"! Er ist Buchautor eines weit verbreiteten Einführungsbuchs in das Simulationswerkzeug MATLAB/Simulink sowie Buchautor des Buches "Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung und Statistik mit MATLAB".
