A Movie per Week is an introduction to cinema that proposes 52 films to watch and analyze over the course of a year. A selection made by Jes�s Iglesias, author of the popular film review account La peli de la semana, so that each month you can choose from four to six films, each one widely commented on and full of facts that will satisfy your cinephile ambition.

It is organized by historical themes, ranging from the beginnings of cinema with the Lumi�re brothers and Alice Guy Blach�, through crucial movements such as German expressionism, the golden ages of Japanese and Italian cinema, and the indispensable nouvelle vague. Additionally, some chapters are dedicated to anniversaries: in October, horror films are discussed, in February, love and heartbreak, in March, the female gaze, and there is even a section dedicated to atypical Christmas classics, so the book jumps from one side to another analyzing works by Dario Argento, C�line Sciamma, Takashi Miike, P.
