RANIA ANTONOPOULOS is Director of the 'Gender Equality and the Economy' program at the Levy Economics Institute of Bard College, serves as an expert advisor to the United Nations Development program and is codirector of two global networks, the Gender Macroeconomics and International Economics (GEM-IWG) and the Economists for full Employment (EFE). Her most recent publications include an ILO monograph, The Unpaid Work, Paid Work Connection and two contributed chapters titled 'The Macroeconomics of HIV /AIDS' and 'State Difference, Diversity: Towards a Path of Expanded Democracy and Gender Equality'.

INDIRA HIRWAY is Director of the Center for Development Alternatives, Ahmedabad, (India), and a Research Associate at The Levy Economics Institute of Bard College. She has been a member of a number of national and international expert groups, technical advisory committees, task forces and policy making bodies. She has been Visiting Fellow at Erasmus University, Netherlands, University of Amsterdam, Netherlands and Queen Elizabeth House, University of Oxford. She is a member of two global networks, the Gender Macroeconomics and International Economics (GEM-IWG) and the Economists for Full Employment (EFE). Her most recent works include Restructuring of Production and Labour under Globalization (ILO, India).
