About The Book

In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird ein Modell zur Analyse wirt- schaftlicher Strukturbruche entwickelt, das insbesondere der Probleme der Datenknapphei t bei empirischen untersuchungen Rechnung tragt. Mit Hilfe des Modells wird dann eine empiri- sche Analyse des Investitionsverhaltens von unternehmen in Japan und der Bundesrepublik Deutschland gegeben. Das mit dem AIC(Akaike's Information criterion)-Kriterium entwickelte Modell zur Ermittlung von Strukturbruchen ist anders als beim Signifikanztest unabhangig von der willkur- lichen Festlegung eines signifikanzniveaus. Durch den Algo- rithmus anhand der GMDH(Group Method of Data Handling) -Me- thode kann ein Regressionsmodell sogar bei Datenknappheit geschatzt werden. Durch die Untersuchung von Wachsturns- und Anpassungsprozes- sen der unternehmen einersei ts und deren Veranderungen vor dern Hintergrund der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Entwicklung ande- rerseits kann gezeigt werden, da{3 offensive Strategien und ein dynamisches Management der Produktionsfaktoren Arbeit und Kapital eine entscheidende Rolle spielen, urn veranderten Urnwel tbedingungen gerechnet zu werden und um Innovations- und Imitationsprozesse zu kontrollieren. Der Vergleich zwi- schen Japan und der Bundesrepublik macht deutlich, wie das allgemeine Wirtschaftssystem funktioniert und wo nationale Besonderheiten liegen.
