Das Forschungsvorhaben "Untersuchung von RuckstoBkernen und Ront- genstrahlung nach Anregung durch schwere Ionen" hatte zum Ziel, am Dynamitron-Tandem-Beschleuniger in Bochum a) Nachweisgrenzen fur quantitative Spurenelementanalysen durch Mes- sung von IonenstoB induzierter Rontgenstrahlung bzw. durch Mes- sung der Energieverluste ruckgestreuter Schwerionen zu bestirnrnen, und b) FestkorpereinflHsse auf die Intensitatsverteilung und Energie der Rontgenstrahlung nach Strahlungseinfangen von Elektronen durch hochionisierte Projektile (REC) zu untersuchen. Die Arbeiten wurden im Herbst 1973 begonnen und befaBten sich zu- nachst mit der Erprobung des Rontgendetektor-Systems. Dabei konnte ein GroBteil der Messungen - insbesondere die Bestirnrnung der An- sprechwahrscheinlichkeit des Si(Li)-Detektors sowie die Untersuchung von Totzeiteffekten der Nachweiselektronik (Kap. II) - zunachst in Munster mit Testquellen durchgefuhrt werden. Nach Aufnahme der regu- laren Strahlzeiten des Dynamitron-Tandem-Beschleunigers am 1. 12. 73 standen fur die Messungen im Rahmen dieses Forschungsvorhabens mo- natlich zwei Tage Strahlzeit zur Verfugung. Es zeigte sich, daB der ursprunglich geplante Umfang der Untersuchungen auf Grund dieses begrenzten Strahlzeitkontingents nicht aufrecht erhalten werden konnte. Das Forschungsprograrnrn am Dynamitron-Tandem-Beschleuniger muBte daher gestrafft und die Messungen von RuckstoBkernen und Strah- lungseinfangen (REC) zuruckgestellt werden. Die Untersuchungen kon- zentrierten sich auf die Bestirnrnung der Nachweisgrenzen von Spuren- elementen durch Messung der Protonen induzierten Rontgenstrahlung, urn die M6g1ichkeit der Anwendung dieser Methode fur den Nachweis von Kernreaktionsprodukten zu uberprufen (Kap. 111. 1). Daneben wurden im Hinblick auf die Frage der Existenz von superschweren Ele- menten in stark uranhaltigen Substanzen die Spurenelemente von Pech- blende analysiert (Kap. 111. 2).
