Aboubacar Limando, Aïdah: - Aïdah Aboubacar Limando was born Aïdah Aboubacar on June 22nd, 1986, in Mayotte-a small island located in the Mozambique Channel. She spent her early childhood in the northern part of the island, in the coastal village of Mtsamboro. Then, at the age of ten, she left her native land for the neighbouring island of Réunion, where she lived with her eldest sister. After two years she returned back to Mayotte to live with her parents. At the age of fifteen, she moved to Marseille, in the south of France, where she settled with her sister. It was in the city of Marseille where she completed secondary school at Collège Edouard Manet. In 2002, she entered Lycée Victor Hugo and, three years later, obtained her Baccalaureate in Literature. She then continued her academic journey at the Aix-Marseille Université, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English and American Civilisation and Literature. She later completed a Master of Arts in the same discipline at Le Mans Université. After working for a year in Stoke-on-Trent as a French Language Assistant, she realised that teaching was not bringing her the fulfilment she expected. In fact, life was inviting her to explore a different path, a new adventure, so she decided to return to university to complete a Master's Degree in International Trade at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia. In 2011, she returned back to the United Kingdom-this time settling in the vibrant city of Brighton-where she pursued a career in digital marketing. In 2019, after several years in the industry, she chose to step away from professional life to focus on her family, particularly her son, who had been born extremely prematurely, a few years earlier.During this turbulent and emotionally charged period, Aïdah went through a deep spiritual awakening, which made her understand the ongoing interactions between the physical and spiritual worlds. It was also during this time that she felt drawn once again to her lifelong passion for literature. In fact, in 2017, she began writing poetry again-this time with deeper conviction and spiritual awareness, giving voice to her experiences, emotions, and insights.
