Der Autor Felix Mensch ist Berufspädagoge im Gesundheitswesen Fachrichtung Pflege B.A., Fachkrankenpfleger für den Operationsdienst und Praxisanleiter. Er ist seit 2015 Lehrkraft an der Schule für Operationstechnische Assistenten am Universitätsklinikum Würzburg, welche er seit 2020 leitet.
