Kapitel A von Teil I des Lehrbuchs stellt Wandel und Ablauf der Wirtschaft in der Bun- desrepublik Deutschland vor und bietet zugleich die M�glichkeit, z. T. bereits auf der Se- kundarstufe I erarbeitete wirtschaftliche Grundbegriffe zu festigen. Au erdem macht das Lehrbuch hier mittelfristige Entwicklungen sichtbar, auf deren Hintergrund gegenw�rtige und k�nftige wirtschaftliche Situationen in ihrer Besonderheit besser erla t werden k�n- nen. Auswirkungen �konomischer Entwicklungen auf die Berufs-und Arbeitswelt wer- den besonders festgehalten. Entsprechend den in den letzten Jahren erfolgten inhaltlichen Reformen der Lehrpl�ne fiir die Sekundarstufe ll bilden Konjunkturpolitik (Kapitel B), Verteilungspolitik (Kapi- tel C) und Vergleich der in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und in der DDR praktizierten Wirtschaftssysteme (Kapitel D) thematische Schwerpunkte. Die realit�ts- und problem- orientierte Konzeption verdeutlicht in diesen Kapiteln Zusammenh�nge von Politik, Wirt- schaft und Gesellschaft. Die Verfasser stellten wirtschaftspolitische Instrumente nicht nur formal dar, sie analysierten auch deren Handhabung und Wirksamkeit. Erl�uterungen wichtiger volkswirtschaftlicher Begriffe in einem Glossarium erlauben die Auswahl nur einzelner Kapitel f�r den Unterricht. Das Lehrbuch ist deshalb in Grund-und Leistungskursen gleicherma en einsetzbar. Am Beginn jedes Kapitels sindLernziele formuliert, die dessen Intentionen zeigen.
