About The Author

McCauley, Kevin: -

Kevin McCauley (b. 1983 in Bridgeport, Connecticut) is a photographer based in Houston, Texas. His photo work has been featured in over a dozen publications, and he has shot for manufacturers, auction houses, retailers and collectors. A short-form documentary he created was chosen as the 2021 Video of the Year by Bring-a-Trailer, and was nominated for the 2022 International Motor Film Awards.

Kevin spent the early part of his career in advertising as a graphic designer. He picked up the camera to shoot portfolio images of design work, but immediately pointed the lens towards automotive subjects, his lifelong passion. He has spent more than a decade capturing the machines that move us.

Waiting for the Sun to Come Down is his first book.
