About The Book

Discrimination and Prejudice in Department of Homeland Security Custom Border Protection Agricultural Specialist. The only Black Agricultural Specialist who fought racial prejudice on the job daily. It was a game to them from the top to the bottom. He passed a background investigation as a USDA Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service Employee / Plant Protection and Quarantine Office. They did another background investigation when merged with Customs and Immigration to form Dept of Homeland Security. At the age of forty they went back to when he was seventeen a juvenile more than thirty years looking into his background. Nothing was change on his background application. For the next three years he had to prove that he was not the same person at seventeen when given a ticket for possession of marijuana less than an ounce or at twenty nine for drug trafficking. It didn't matter.

About The Author

Born in Tela Honduras grew up in Dangriga Belize. As a kid he enjoyed reading, fishing, walking in the woods, along the beach and the river. He was very skillful soccer player. He attended Sacred Heart and St Joseph primary school. He also attended Austin High of Dangriga Belize Technical High and Thomas Jefferson high school of Los Angeles Calif. At the age of seventeen moved to Los Angeles California. Enlisted in the US Army and served eight honorable years, four as a Medical Specialist and four as an Orthopedic Specialist. Vacationed in Cereso Chetumal Quintana Roo. A graduate of California State Polytechnic Pomona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Fruit Science and a minor degree in Plant Pathology. Worked as a Soil Conservationist USDA Natural Resources Soil Conservation, Plant Protection and Quarantine Officer with USDA Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service and as an Agricultural Specialist with Dept of Homeland Security Customs & Border Protection
