Wenn es um Gesundheit, Fortpflanzung, Rasse, Zukunft der Art, Lebenskraft des Gesellschaftsk�rpers geht, spricht die Macht von der Sexualit�t und zu der Sexualit�t, die nicht Mal oder Symbol ist, sondern Gegenstand und Zielscheibe." (Foucault, 2006, 142). Die Gesellschaft kontrolliert die Bev�lkerung mittels multipler Techniken und Technologien. Biopolitik und Bio-Macht, sind zwei der zentralen Begriffe in den Werken von Michel Foucault und Giorgio Agamben. Wie hat sich diese Macht entwickelt und welche Auswirkungen hat sie auf das Subjekt? War die Gesellschaft schon immer so gegliedert, oder vollzog sich ein Wandel, und wenn ja, wie? Wie wirkt diese Macht und kann man sie als produktiv oder als repressiv ansehen? Die vorliegende Arbeit soll zeigen, wie Foucault diesen Wandel analysiert, erkl�rt und aufdeckt und wie Agamben die Foucaultschen Paradigmen weiterdenkt und umdenkt. Das zentrale Thema, das Foucault und Agamben aufgreifen, ist eben genau die Entstehung der modernen Macht, die mit ihr verbundenen Technologien und Mechanismen und wie sie versuchen mehr und mehr den K�rper des Menschen in die Maschinerie der Macht zu integrieren. Die Fragen: Wie entsteht diese Macht? und Was macht diese Macht aus? bilden die Hauptst�tzen ihrer Theorien. Ma gebend sind hier Foucaults Vorlesungen am Coll�ge de France (1975-1976), die noch bis in die heutige Zeit als geradezu revolution�r gelten, sein Werk "Sexualit�t und Wahrheit- Der Wille zum Wissen" und Giorgio Agambens "Homo sacer" -Projekt, welches als sehr eigenwillig angesehen wird und kaum aus einer intellektuellen Debatte fern zu halten ist.
