Der Musikunterricht, gerade weil sich dieses Fach in seiner speziellen Art und seiner Vielfalt im Bereich der Inhalte und Methoden schwierig einzuordnen ist, sucht stetig im Verhältnis zu anderen Fächern nach einer Rechtfertigung seiner Existenz. Inhaltsspezifische Faktoren sind ein Teil des Musikunterrichts. Doch was ist ein "guter Musikunterricht" und was ein "guter Unterricht" im Allgemeinen? Gibt es Unterschiede bei der Bewertung von Unterricht und Musikunterricht, oder ist es ohne Bedeutung, welchen Inhalten unterrichtet werden und welche Faktoren guten Unterricht beschreiben? Unterricht, also auch Musikunterricht, wird immer aus verschiedenen Perspektiven betrachtet. Die jedoch am wenigsten beachtete Perspektive ist häufig der Faktor Schüler: innen. In dieser Arbeit soll auf Grundlage einer qualitativen Erhebung versucht werden zu klären, wie Musikunterricht aussehen muss, den Schüler: innen als gut empfinden und welche allgemeinpädagogischen oder musikpädagogischen Faktoren diesen aus Sicht der Schüler: innen beschreiben. Die Befragung konzentriert sich zum einen auf fokussierte Wahrnehmung über Videosequenzen und daraus extrahierten Standbilder und zum anderen wird eine generelle Wahrnehmung abgeprüft. Durch den Vergleich von diesen Wahrnehmungsbereichen soll geklärt werden, was "guten Musikunterricht" aus Schüler: innensicht ausmacht.
