Die Projektgruppe "Weiterbildung im Bereich Sozialarbeit/ Sozial- padagogik" im Arbeitsbereich Soziologie der Fernuniversitat legt hiermit ihren Endbericht vor. Das Projekt wurde eingerichtet, um fUr die konzeptionelle Entwicklung von Weiterbildungsstudiengangen an der Fernuniversitat - speziell fUr das Berufsfeld der Sozialpadagogik/Sozialarbeit - grundlegende Forschungen zu beruflicher Sozialisation, Weiterbildungsmotivation und Weiterbildungsinhalten durchzufUhren. Hierauf bezogen sollte exemplarisch ein theoretisch und curricular-organisatorischer Ent- wurf eines berufsfeldbezogenen Weiterbildungsstudiengangs entwickelt werden. Die Ergebnisse der Untersuchungen, die hier vor;elegt werden, erhalten neue Aktualitat im Kontext der Debatte um die Fundierung von (sozial)wissenschaftlicher Weiterbildung an Universitaten und Gesamt- hochschulen. Die vorgelegten Ergebnisse stellen einen bedeutsamen Rahmen fUr die Entwicklung von Weiterbildungsstudiengangen dar. Dies gilt nicht nur fUr die spezifischen Belange von Weiterbildung an einer Fernuniversitat, sondern auch darUber hinausweisend fUr die theoretische und empirisch abgesicherte BegrUndung von Weiterbildungs- studiengangen insgesamt. Das Projekt wurde yom MWF/NW von 1979 bis 1980 gefordert. Die Feder- fUhrung, die Ausarbeitung des Forschungsdesigns sowie die Entwicklung der Weiterbildungskonzeption lag bei Herrn Dr. Hans-Werner Klusemann. Die Schwerpunkte der Konzeption liegen in einer Forschungsplanung, die im Rahmen empirischer untersuchungen realisiert wurde, sowie in der Konkretisierung curricularer, inhaltlicher und organisatorischer Prin- zipien. Darauf aufbauend wurde ein Studienga!!g enbvickelt, der die Moglichkeit eroffnet, wissenschaftliche Arbeits- und Reflexionsweisen mit berufspraktischen Erfahrungen zu vermitteln, um so zu Formen theoriegeleiteten Handelns und zu handlungsbezogener Theoriebildung zu kommen; er zeigt Wege auf, wie eine Fernuniversitat rein rezeptives Lernen Uberwinden und nicht-kommunikative und kommunikationsintensive Lernverfahren und Medien kombinieren kann.
