A collection of over 60 folk tales by expert in the field Robin Gwyndaf. Includes the stories of Cantre'r Gwaelod (Ceredigion), Nant Gwrtheyrn (Gwynedd), Gwenffrewi (Flintshire) and the death of Llywelyn the Last at Cilmeri, beautifully illustrated throughout by much-loved artist Margaret D Jones. The volume also addresses old Welsh customs such as Calennig, the Mari Lwyd, Gwaseila, Hunting the Wren and the Caseg Fedi. The original volume was extremely popular and was reprinted several times by the National Museum Wales.

Gwyndaf, Robin: - Robin Gwyndaf is originally from Uwchaled, near Corwen. He is an expert in the field of Folk Literature and is the author of over 15 books. He was co-founder and the first Chair of the Llafar Gwlad Society and was also Chair of the Welsh Folk Song Society.

Jones, Margaret D.: - 104-year-old Margaret D Jones moved to Wales in 1954 and has come to define the visual mythology of her adoptive country. She is a prolific illustrator best-known for her iconic illustrations for the Mabinogion, and won the Tir na n-Og Award in 1989, 1993, 2000, and 2003.
