Identifying dates from Nebuchadnezzar's reign in the seventh century BC to modern times, this good-humored speculative work provides an in-depth analysis of author Edwin N. Dufour's unique mathematical method that has resulted in more than two dozen specific dates. But while he does present fascinating predictions, past and future, that correspond significantly with the Hebrew calendar, Dufour claims no certitude that he's correct. Why? Because he strongly believes that only God knows the future for certain. Even so, the book encourages you to study biblical prophecies so you can better understand the story of the Gospel and see what God has done, is doing, and will do in the future.

Remember: more important than determining when Christ will return is whether or not you'll be ready when he does.

Edwin N. Dufour became a Christian in 1978 and has been avidly studying the Bible ever since. He holds a BA in English, along with several master's degrees, and works in the IT world, where he enjoys troubleshooting various types of problems - a skill that he also uses to analyze biblical topics, including prophecy.
