Okuku, Rose: - Born near the equator in Eldoret, Kenya where the sun is a constant companion, Rose Okuku has long been influenced by the sun's rhythm and moved by its ability to foster connection. Her granddaughter, River, inspires her to write about topics related to shared universal experiences and the wonder of nature and life.

Rose lives with her family in Rochester, Minnesota. When not spending quality time with River, she takes pride in designing and sewing custom clothing for her beloved granddaughter.
