About The Book

In 2017, I found myself in a tough season of unrest and confusion. During this time, I was challenged by two different people to create intentional time to be still and write down what I heard God speaking to me. Would I even be able to hear His voice? I honestly wasn't sure. In this renewed and intentional time with Him, I quickly realized that the majority of my prayer time had been spent doing all of the talking and none of the listening. I never even stopped to try to hear God's voice. When I decided to get quiet, ask God what He wanted to say to me, and truly listen, I was amazed! God spoke loving encouragement to me and reminded me of His promises. He whispered scripture in my ear and filled me with His peace. It truly changed my life and I knew I had to share it with you. I created 'Whispers From God' to not only encourage you with the words He shared with me, but to challenge you to get quiet before the Lord and write down, in the space provided, what He whispers to you each day. The 30 devotionals are written as your heavenly Father speaking to you. There are several scripture verses to accompany each devotional as well as an area for you to write what you hear. I pray your life will be changed forever by this 30-day journey with our awesome God.

About The Author

Mellie Boozer graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A.T. in Early Childhood Education. She worked with amazing special needs preschoolers for nine years until the Lord invited her on a new faith adventure: becoming an author. She is writing in between acting and modeling jobs across the Southeast. Mellie loves people and strives to be light and love to everyone she meets. She enjoys hip-hop dancing, amusement parks, all of the desserts, and thankfully, working out.
