Schulpolitik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Für eine zufriedenstellende Klärung der Frage, ob und wie sprachsensibler Fachunterrichts Bildungsbenachteiligungen von Schülerinnen und Schüler mit Migrationshintergrund entgegenwirken kann, müssen verschiedene Aspekte beleuchtet werden, denn ganz so einfach und eindeutig fällt die Antwort keinesfalls aus. Dafür ist es zunächst einmal dringend erforderlich, einen groben Überblick über Migration zu bekommen. Daher werden im ersten Kapitel einige allgemeine Informationen über diese zusammengetragen, sodass ein fundiertes Hintergrundwissen etabliert wird. Dazu gehört neben allgemeinen Informationen über Migration auch die gegenwärtige Situation dieser in Deutschland, die Darstellung ihrer Entwicklung sowie auch der Umgang mit dieser im Bildungskontext. Im Anschluss daran ist es für die Beantwortung der übergeordneten Frage zentral, zu verstehen, wie Bildungsbenachteiligungen von Schülerinnen und Schüler mit Migrationshintergrund in erster Linie entstehen. Nach einer ausführlichen Darstellung der Bildungsdisparitäten zwischen Schülerinnen und Schüler mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund erfolgt daher eine Erläuterung der möglichen Ursachen und Erklärungsfaktoren ihrer Entstehung. Dieses Kapitel wird einen gro en Teil der Arbeit einnehmen, sodass ein differenziertes und umfangreiches Wissen über die Hintergründe von Bildungsbenachteiligungen entstehen kann. Erst wenn tatsächlich die Ursachen eines Problems erfasst und verstanden werden, kann diesem wirkungsvoll und nachhaltig entgegengesteuert werden. Neben der sozialen Herkunft und der Rolle der Sprache stehen hier vor allem auch institutionelle Bedingungen im Fokus. Nachdem die Fragen geklärt wurden, wie Bildungsbenachteiligungen entstehen und ob tatsächlich eine nichtdeutsche Erstsprache dafür verantwortlich zu machen ist, geht es um die Klärung der Frage, wie diesem Zustand entgegengewirkt w
