From dusty small-town fields and makeshift pitches, sixteen extraordinary women rise to cricketing glory through sheer talent, resilience and a shared dream. Meet trailblazers like Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma―who battled scarce resources and sky-high odds to forge a team that powered India to its historic 2025 World Cup victory.

From a girl who disguised herself as her brother to play cricket to a world champion who first played the game with sticks and potatoes, this book is no stats sheet. Discover how these heroes overcame challenges, ignored the odds and achieved a triumph that inspired millions.

Vivid, action-packed and deeply inspiring,
Women in Blue captures the sweat, the cheers and the sisterhood behind the greatest moment in Indian women’s cricket.
