Currently, she teaches at Chonnam National University's Faculty of Global Business. A recipient of several teaching awards including the Woodang Academic Award from Korea University, Dr. Jeong's expertise encompasses Ecocriticism, Romanticism, and Comparative Korean and Anglo-American Literature. She focuses on humanities courses, particularly Korean language for non-native speakers, and actively researches the globalization of Korean literature and advancements in Korean language education. Dr. Jeong is dedicated to highlighting literature's role in promoting environmental awareness and societal change.
