Why "You Are Like This Rug"?
The author explains: the soul is like a rug - it receives everything, it gathers everything. As long as you maintain it, it stays clean. But as soon as you stop, it begins to get dirty, layer by layer.

He comes, washes, and removes all the impurities we have gathered over the years.
When we realize that we cannot do it on our own, when we seek salvation in God, and when we truly want our soul to be clean - not because it is dirty, but because it deserves to be clean - that is when the real cleaning begins, the deep one.

This book uses the powerful metaphor of a rug to describe our inner reality - the layers of experiences, wounds, and stories we carry. Just as a rug can be washed and renewed, so can our soul shine again when we allow truth and love to touch it.
