Die Lehre vom Wesen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel überarbeitete seine Logik immer wieder. Der erste Teil des dreiteiligen Werks der Wissenschaft der Logik, die objektive Logik oder Seinslogik erfuhr 1832 seine letzte Form. Hegel kam nicht mehr dazu, auch die 1807 zuletzt veröffentlichte subjektive Logik, bestehend aus der Wesenslogik und der Begriffslogik, erneut zu bearbeiten. Der dunkle Monolog der Wissenschaft der Logik stellt Hegels Hauptwerk und eines der wichtigsten Werke des deutschen Idealismus dar. Noch heute ist die Interpretation des Textes mühsam und umstritten. Kennzeichnend für den tief in die sprachliche Konstitution unseres Weltwissens eindringenden Textes ist die dialektische Auffassung jedes Gedankens und jeder Stilllegung eines Gedankens in einem Begriff. Alle Begriffe sind bei Hegel schillernd, dynamisch im Spannungsfeld ihrer Bedeutungen. Diese innere Dynamik der Begriffe lässt sie aus sich heraus und in andere Begriffe übergehen, wobei diese Übergänge im Hegelschen Verständnis strikt logisch sind. Hegel entwickelt so ein präzises und dichtes Netzwerk der philosophischen Begriffe. Doch seine Definitionen und inhaltlichen Verknüpfungen prägen noch heute weitgehend unbewusst auch die Alltagssprache. Die 2003 von Bert Grashoff verfasste Hausarbeit stellt eine detaillierte Interpretation eines begrifflichen Übergangs innerhalb der Seinslogik dar, nämlich der vom Sein zum Fürsichsein. Sie setzt bei dem vielfältig schillernden Begriff der Grenze an und folgt der Entwicklung des Begriffspaars der Endlichkeit und Unendlichkeit. Hegel diskutiert dabei eingehend den Begriff der schlechten Unendlichkeit, den er überwindet.
