Every little vegan cake in this book was baked and photographed by the author herself (several times). Twenty years of food blogging experience and many fresh ingredients plus a lot of passion have gone into this baking book for attractive plant-based mini cakes.

The author's family had previously been switched to a diet of Italian flat bread for another book (Fairytale Focaccia) and thus tested every sweet recipe without complaint, because the variety was most welcome! Not all recipies were agreed upon, but each found enthusiastic advocates - even the bundt cakes with beetroot.

About the Author

Carola Heine works as author, journalist and professional blogger. Her own German food blog can be found at planet-alltag.de - the English entrance planet-alltag.de/english

For over 20 years she has been delighting others with practical and pragmatic recipes that are nevertheless delicious and look wonderful on a plate. Her first recipe book is called Fairytale Focaccia and available on Amazon. The baking Little Vegan Cakes is her second gift book with vegan recipes but will most certainly not the last. After all, cake never goes out of fashion.

Why little vegan cakes?

Purely vegetable recipes and plant-based food have many advantages. They are often better tolerated, suit guests with lactose intolerance, the cakes last a little longer and for many people they are an exciting experience. Many books about delicious and very small baked goods exist, but a special and pretty one for all those who want to live a more plant-based life was missing. Not it's here.
