Situazioni che la mia mente elabora e trasforma in qualcosa di più profondo intrecciando ricordi, racconti, aneddoti e luoghi che porteranno in sé i tratti del romanzo della mia vita, dei racconti delle mie avventure, della fiaba da raccontare, di tradizioni da rispettare e di sapori da gustare e far conoscere. La caccia è un'attività atavica dell'uomo, il cui coronamento sta nella cattura e il suo senso compiuto risiede nel rispetto della preda che va sempre donata o consumata rispettando le tradizioni della cucina popolare, spesso diversa da regione a regione o perfino da città a città, tramandate con cura e passione. La prelibatezza e il gusto naturale e selvaggio di queste carni, oltre che contorno poetico a serate passate a prepararle e cucinarle, offre anche lo spunto sulla bontà e i benefici di questa carne in un'epoca dove tutto è contraffatto, trattato, geneticamente modificato. E allora in questa splendida avventura chiamata arte venatoria, fatta di ricordi, ricorreranno e si intrecceranno personaggi degni di Bianconiglio, del Cappellaio matto, la falsa Tartaruga, la Regina di cuori e tanti altri che hanno reso favoloso il viaggio di Alice e che renderanno piacevole l'immergersi nei ricordi di quello che è e rimarrà sempre il mio Paese delle Meraviglie. Il bosco, la natura, i cani, la caccia e la cucina. Da cui prenderanno nuovamente vita quei personaggi che erano mitici nei primi racconti che ascoltavo da bambino e che poi si sono trasformati nella mia prima montagna, nel primo bosco, nel primo Setter, nella prima Beccaccia, nella prima Coturnice, nella prima Lepre e tante altre prime volte che si intrecceranno con ricordi, sensazioni e sapori che non sono stati solo prime volte ma semplicemente emozioni ed insegnamenti che hanno arricchito la mia passione, la mia anima, curato la mia mente e il mio corpo.
